Derogatory statement against AICC president: File a case against former home minister Araga Gyanendra
An FIR has been registered against former Home Minister Araga Gyanendra in a case of making derogatory statements against AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge.
Congress leaders had attacked AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge alleging that former Home Minister Araga Gyanendra had made a derogatory statement.
Against this background, an FIR has been registered against former Home Minister Araga Gyanendra at the Ashok Nagar Police Station in Kalaburgi.
Home Minister Araga Gyanendra has tweeted and the Congressmen are no slouch in twisting the statements and using them for their political mischief. I just mentioned the hot weather of North Karnataka and gave Kharge's example for it. I have made a statement in the sense that since most of the people who are forest ministers are the people's representatives of that part, they are not aware of the problem of the people of Malenada and the trees here. Congress should stop making such politically motivated statements instead of solving the problems. We don't need to learn to respect Dalits from Congress. History is proof of how Congress treated Dr. Ambedkar. People of the state are not stupid," Araga Gyanendra tweeted.
